Are you a reader of Cozy Mysteries or Cozy Paranormal Mysteries? Do you want to find new-to-you books and have an awesome group to chat about those books with? From the admins of The Twenty Qs Book Clubs website, we hope the Cozy Mystery group will be your go-to place for finding new cozies and meeting new cozy-loving friends. We have a Facebook group (https://twentyqsbookclubs.com/cmfb) for regular interaction and host our discussions on Goodreads (http://twentyqsbookclubs.com/cmgr)! We’re always looking for new members and would love to have you join us!
For the last half of 2019, we have selected books that we feel most will enjoy. For 2020 and beyond, polls will be created to select books for the following quarter. Discussion questions will be posted in the Goodreads group by the 20th of the same month to start the convo. Discussions are ongoing so pop in when you’ve finished that month’s book! Participation is optional at all times.
The selection criteria is simple.
- All books will fall into the Cozy Mystery or Cozy Paranormal Mystery realm and could feature ghosts, witches, amateur sleuths, and more.
- All books will be available in multiple formats and reasonably priced.
- All books will be standalone or first in series. For those who want to continue reading a series, we can create unofficial discussions. Members are welcome to lead these discussions.
- Books can be previously released or coming soon.
A doc has been created in the Facebook group (http://twentyqsbookclubs.com/cmfb) for suggestions for future reads. Please take the above criteria into consideration. Periodically, the admins will review these books and remove those that do not qualify.
THIS IS A NON SELF-PROMO GROUP! Promoting your own books, in any fashion, is not allowed. Posts will be deleted and repeat offenders removed from the group. There are plenty of other Facebook groups where you can promote your books.

- Thursday — On Screen Cozies — What Cozy Mystery movies have you been watching or would you like to watch again?
- Saturday — Reader Recs — Post links to your Cozy Mystery reviews from your blog, Amazon, or Goodreads! (This does not include your books. Remember…no self-promo!) Don’t review? Just share the title and what you loved about it! With your permission, we’ll drop the quote on our website and share!
- Sunday — Book News — We’ll share as many new releases from the last week as we can find.
- Every day – Talk! Are you looking for a particular Chick Lit/Romantic Comedy book but can’t remember the name? Ask! We might be able to help! Did you find a cute bookworm or reading meme? Share away! Do you just have to talk about the book you finished at 1 o’clock this morning? Go for it!!
